Racism, derelict buildings, the incinerator and dangerous dogs… and that’s just in Evelyn
Today, myself and twelve others spent the day canvassing people’s views in Evelyn. It was hugely productive and a great way to get our campaign moving forward.
People were very positive towards me and shared lots of concerns, which I’m now working on addressing. Issues ranged from a burnt down building being left derelict for over a year next Deptford Park, pollution from the Deptford Incinerator, racism on the Silwood Estate and dangerous dogs being tied up outside a primary school while mums drop their kids off to school.
I’ve been chasing up some of these issues already, I’ll keep you posted on my progress. But if you’ve been experiencing any of these problems or have any local problems you would like some help with then please get in touch, I’m always happy to help.
